Waco Perry joined Emord & Associates as a law clerk in the spring of 2022 before transitioning to associate attorney in the summer of 2022. He was born in Great Falls, Montana and was raised in West Yellowstone, Montana before moving to Tucson in 2013. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. While at the U of A, Mr. Perry held an internship with the Department of Anthropology, working alongside a nonprofit for refugee children.
In 2022, Mr. Perry graduated from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. While in law school, he served on the Arizona Journal of International & Comparative Law as a writer and article editor. In addition to his law clerk position with Emord & Associates, Mr. Perry held internship positions at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, the Town of Marana, Maricopa County Community Colleges Office of the General Counsel, and he participated in a prosecution clinic as a Rule 39(c) limited practice student for the City of Tucson Prosecutor’s Office.
In his free time, Waco enjoys spending time with family, exploring the local shops and restaurants of the Phoenix area, taking his dog to local parks, and golfing.
